About Dusek & Powell

Kevin Dusek focuses on Design, Customer Contact, and Finish Construction. His experience spans 20+ years. After graduating from Texas A&M, he returned home to Temple, TX, and began his career as a home builder with his father, Brad Dusek. After 18 years of learning and working alongside his Dad, his journey would lead him to team up with Brock in 2018 to start a true Design Build company with Dusek & Powell.

Brock Powell, wearing the hat of a small business owner with many roles, specializes in Design, scheduling, and rough construction. Also influenced by the example of his father, Brock’s extensive history in the construction trades began right after his school-building experience through two previous successful ventures. He joined forces with Kevin, driven by a shared vision of delivering high-quality homes with an exceptional customer experience.

As co-owners of Dusek & Powell, Kevin and Brock are driven by a vision that revolves around leveraging their collective years of experience. Their objective is to provide homeowners with a unique and comprehensive team where their visions can seamlessly transition from concept to reality. The ultimate reward for them is witnessing the entire journey of a home—from its initial conception through the construction process to its final completion. Infusing each client’s interaction with experience, positive personality, and creative insight, their goal is to ensure a superior experience in building a custom home.
